Life Drawing


I started attending The Atelier, in Minneapolis. Great opportunity to really study the figure, in the classic sense, with some great one-on-one instruction. We are doing sustained poses, over 4 sessions. Here is my first one.

    Hey Jim...great stuff on here! I like the Bassets.

    It is also good to see you are in life drawing at the atelier! Are you using vine charcoal for these?

    Hey Matt:

    Thanks. The final painting turned out pretty good too.

    The life drawings are actually just graphite - HB & a 6B lead for some of the darker areas.

    Yes, Matt, after seeing your work, from the Atelier and such, it inspired me to check it out here.
